Course Description


  • Day 1: Foundations of Bridge Team Management
  • Day 2: Teamwork in Practice and Communication
  • Day 3: Bridge Procedures and Watch keeping
  • Day 4: Emergency Management and Crisis Response
  • Day 5: Advanced Scenarios and Assessment

Simulation exercises will be conducted every day on various scenarios for a minimum of 4 hours, ensuring compliance with the 19 - hour simulation requirement as outlined in IMO Model Course 1.22 and in alignment with SIRE 2.0 guidelines.

This course has been designed to meet the key requirements of IMO Model Course 1.22. Course provides guidance for masters and officers in charge of a navigational watch on the skills required for effective bridge team management
