Have recently completed GMDSS course. I would say it was best experience and faculties were amazing. The simulator they had provided a good hands on experience and was of seamless operation .The short and crisp study material given to us were most useful and handy during last minute preparation. The course booking is a piece of cake thing , super easy. I have decided to take my future courses from here only. Thank you HIMT.

One of the best institutes for GMDSS, even though it's a hectic 2 week course, time spent in HIMT was fun. Cleared the exam in the first attempt and all credits go to the faculty.

Attended GMDSS course. The staff and teachers were excellent. All relevant study material was provided and all formalities were promptly taken care of by the teachers. Very good experience.

I just completed GMDSS course at HIMT Kilpauk , and I can’t recommend it enough! The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The course was well- structured, with a good balance of theory classes and simulator practices. This helped reinforce the material and made it much easier to understand , talking about the classes, they have a well equipped classroom for GMDSS with more than sufficient systems for simulator practices and i really enjoyed the class. The instructors were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the topics. They took the time to explain concepts clearly and encouraged us to ask questions all the time, to make sure we understand each topic thoroughly. Each one had a unique teaching style, which kept things interesting. I felt supported throughout the course. The study material they're providing really helped us to learn this course well clearly. Looking forward to do more courses with them in the future.

The staffs were good and teaching was good

Since I have done 15 courses with himt now as of they grow bigger some of the office staffs in the himt are rude and not polite especially exit exam ITguys treating us like school students not like a trained professionals. Already the course time starts at 07.15am nobody will have breakfast at the time and they have stopped giving lunch now and they are telling they have reduced the fees but in other campuses who provide lunch charges less fees than himt and provide lunch ,See the young guys can tolerate but wat about 30+,40+ & 50+ as the course ends at 13:45 it is already untime ,as in ship's we already don't eat on time due to time zones now in courses also they do like this and teaching is very good and completely professional in himt apart from above points. If we are not feeling they are not even giving 1 hr early permission to go . If this continues I feel sad that I don't want to come to himt in future. The above reviews has been reviewed by the institute and they said will correct it in near future and so I have increased the star rating to 3 bcos they have taken the steps of correcting the above reviews as soon as my problems get solved I'll rate it to 4 or 5 according to the institute actions

I am an ETO student in HIMT (ETO 32 BATCH), I knew about this college from a famous seafarer youtuber (merchant navy decoded) who gives directions to the upcoming seafarers. At that time the college was having a placement drive collabrating with Bernhard scult ship management (BSM) which is one of the top most contributer of world economy. I have registered for the that drive and even before taking the admission,the college authorities provided us 1.5 months preplacement training which helped me to crack it. After joining the college now i am confident to say that " I will be a much refined seafarer with good knowledge and communication skills". The atmosphere and regulations are at the top notch to shape an ordinary man to become a seafarer. The faculties are dedicated to their responsibilities to take us to the peak of excellence. Also many of the companies prefer cadets from this institution due to the skills and knowledge acquired by the cadets during training. Thank you HIMT for helping me to secure my career in one of the best company like BSM

Good response, less fees comoared with other institute. Sathiya priya hotel is best stay near this location (nonac 1k). 23c to reach saithapet and 51v to reach velacheri to get golden travels.

Kindly conduct the exit exam in kalapakkam campus it is very difficult to travel later evening in ecr road with dense traffic we reaching tidal park campus at 1730 only first set of people can able to give exit exam in time second set have to wait for long time due to shortage of computers

Myself eto learner .Good place to do your stcw course ..were all the faculty teaching as simple as that...and they have well equipped instruments for learning and good infrastructure..
