Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations - UK MCA Approved

1. All participants undertaking the training must have completed the tanker firefighting course and have Basic STCW Courses of any administration included in the IMO list of STCW Parties (White List).

Note:
a) Ratings & Trainees will be issued with a Certificate of Proficiency (CoP) in Basic Oil & Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations, upon successful completion of the course.

b) UK CoC Holders will be issued with a Certificate of Training (CoT) in Basic Oil & Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations, upon successful completion of the course. The candidates have to submit the CoT to UK MCA to get their Endorsement.

2. Non-Indian participants are required to hold a Valid Student Visa to India to attend the course. For students from countries where embassies do not issue Student Visas for short courses, a Business or relevant visa may be submitted, provided it includes the endorsement: "Maritime Training at HIMT Offshore." Additionally, HIMT will also provide the Visa Letter, if required, upon successful booking of the course.

Candidates must bring any valid National ID (such as a Driving License, Passport, Aadhaar Card, or similar government-issued identification) on the first day of the course for identity verification.

The batch will be confirmed subject to a minimum of 3 participants in the batch.

Advanced Training For Oil Tanker Cargo Operations - UK MCA Approved

1. Tanker Fire Fighting issued under the authority of the MCA

2. Basic Training for Oil & Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations Course Completion Certificate issued under the authority of the MCA.

Note for FSE CoC Holders (Egs- D.G.Shipping CoC):

For candidates having CoC from the UK FSE List, they are eligible for the course without MCA Basic Oil & Chemical Tanker Certificate and Tanker Fire Fighting, if they have a valid Basic/Advanced Oil Tanker Endorsement on their CoC. 

Note for candidates who do NOT hold a FSE CoC:

For candidates who do not hold FSE CoC, can undergo the course only with an MCA Basic Oil & Chemical Tanker & MCA Tanker Firefighting.

Note for candidates holding Advanced Chemical Tanker endorsement on their UK CoC:

A candidate can enroll for the Advanced Oil/Chemical Course if they hold the opposite Advanced Oil/Chemical endorsement on their UK CoC.

Tanker Fire Fighting (TFF) - UK MCA Approved

1. Those undertaking this training must have completed Fire Prevention and Fire fighting (Section A-VI/1-2 of STCW) or be in the process of completing it or similar training acceptable to the MCA.

2. Valid Medical Certificate (ENG1 or Equivalent)

3. Non-Indian participants are required to hold a Valid Student Visa to India to attend the course. For students from countries where embassies do not issue Student Visas for short courses, a Business or relevant visa may be submitted, provided it includes the endorsement: "Maritime Training at HIMT Offshore." Additionally, HIMT will also provide the Visa Letter, if required, upon successful booking of the course.
