(i) Prior electrical or electro-technical experience in a shipboard environment
(ii) Have completed 12 months sea time as EOOW
(iii) Part of an initial electro-technical training programme
Non-Indian participants are required to hold a Valid Student Visa to India to attend the course. For students from countries where embassies do not issue Student Visas for short courses, a Business or relevant visa may be submitted, provided it includes the endorsement: "Maritime Training at HIMT Offshore." Additionally, HIMT will also provide the Visa Letter, if required, upon successful booking of the course.
1. CDC - Proof of having completed 12 months sea time as EOOW (Engine Officer On the Watch), after class 4 CoC
2. UK CoC
3. High Voltage Operational Course Certificate (UK MCA Approved)
4. 2 Stamp Size Photos [20mm x 25mm]
5. Student Visa (for foreign candidates)
Note: Candidates with a foreign EOOW III/1 CoC will be allowed entry onto a MCA HV(M) course provided they meet the following criteria:
1. Have completed 12 months sea time as EOOW
2. Issuing Flag State is on the UKs Flag state Endorsement List (List of countries accepted towards issuing a UK FSE - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
3. The EOOW III/1 has no negative endorsement/restriction preventing them from sailing on a high voltage vessel

Candidates must bring any valid National ID (such as a Driving License, Passport, Aadhaar Card, or similar government-issued identification) on the first day of the course for identity verification.
