Eligibility

2. The candidates need to hold a Basic IGF CoP issued by UK MCA or issued by a country on UK FSE list.

Holders of advanced Gas Tanker Endorsement should apply directly to the MCA for an Advanced IGF Certificate of Proficiency.

3. Non-Indian participants are required to hold a Valid Student Visa to India to attend the course. For students from countries where embassies do not issue Student Visas for short courses, a Business or relevant visa may be submitted, provided it includes the endorsement: "Maritime Training at HIMT Offshore." Additionally, HIMT will also provide the Visa Letter, if required, upon successful booking of the course.

Upon Successful completion of the course, candidates will be issued with a Certificate of Training for the Advance IGF Course. Before a Certificate of Proficiency can be issued, the seafarer must have completed at least one month of approved seagoing service that includes a minimum of three bunkering operations onboard. Two of the three bunkering operations may be replaced by simulator training on bunkering operations. These requirements must have been completed within the last five years.

Candidates must bring any valid National ID (such as a Driving License, Passport, Aadhaar Card, or similar government-issued identification) on the first day of the course for identity verification. 

The batch will be confirmed subject to a minimum of 3 participants in the batch.
