Course Description


This course covers the training recommended in the IMO Model Course 2.07 and fulfils the simulator training requirement for Second Engineer Officers at the Management Level, specified in Table A-III/2 of STCW Code as amended, to provide knowledge and skills related to operation, supervising and monitoring the safe operation and control of ship's machinery.

Eligibility


  • Class IV Marine Engineer with 12 months of Sea service (or) Class II candidate eligible for appear exams. [CoC should be DGS Approved only]. 
  • Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.

  • CDC with proof of sea service.
  • Class IV COC issued by D.G.Shipping, Govt. of India

Kindly ensure your photo and signature in the seafarer profile is updated as the same would be used for Facial Attendance, and certification as per DGS Directives.

Dress Code : Collarless T.Shirts, Shorts, Sandals, Bathroom slippers are not permitted for Physical Classes

D. G. Shipping mandates a minimum batch strength of 25%. In the event that the number of participants in the course reduces due to withdrawals, causing the batch strength to fall below 25% of the batch capacity, the course would be postponed without any additional charges.
