Course Description


This course covers the training recommended in the IMO Model Course 2.07 and fulfils the simulator training requirement for Chief Engineer Officers at the Management Level, specified in Table A-III/2 of STCW Code as amended, to provide knowledge and skills related to optimisation of fuel consumption, supervising and monitoring the combustion parameters for safe and efficient operation and control of ship's machinery.

Eligibility


  • COC as MEO class II and 18 months sea service (Engineer Officer)
  • INDOS Number is Mandatory
  • Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.

Dress Code : Collarless T.Shirts, Shorts, Sandals, Bathroom slippers are not permitted for Physical Classes

D. G. Shipping mandates a minimum batch strength of 25%. In the event that the number of participants in the course reduces due to withdrawals, causing the batch strength to fall below 25% of the batch capacity, the course would be postponed without any additional charges.
