Retired  Deputy Nautical Adviser to the Government of India from the Indian Maritime Administration, DGS/MMD’s in 2014. Appointed as Technical Adviser/Faculty with HIMT Group in 2015. Till date part of HIMT and ship management companies and Assessment, Training, Examination and certification system under the applicable International and National laws.

Possess both practical and legal expertise as a seasoned master mariner with seven years of command on Indian & foreign flags ( all types of hazardous ships) coupled with 22 years of experience in administrative, Technical and social related matters in shipping with the Indian Maritime Administration in the capacity of Flag, Port and Coastal state.

Dealt with matters relating to trade & technical bilateral and multilateral treaties with Panama & IMO instruments namely, FAL, 1965, CLC, 1992 ,FUND,1992, Supplementary Fund,2003 and HNS,1996 as amended by 2010 protocol respectively.

Expert domain in matters relating to Shipping Emergencies, Casualty Investigation and Liability and Compensation such as Places of refuge, Salvage, Towage, Wreck removal & Marine Environmental protection, response, mitigation and reimbursement at International, Regional, National and local levels.

Qualified & Certified IMO auditor as per III Code under SOLAS,1974, Chapter XIII, Mandatory Contracting State Audit by IMO, ISM/ISPS/ISO applicable Normative References.
