Bridge informed and the engine was isolated and lifted the no 1 cylinder head found the starting air valve stuck in open position, Relief valve did not lift. Changed the cylinder head one and boxed back. Then tried out the main engine found working satisfactory

Incident:
After trying out the main engine, in the normal procedure of engaging turning gear, opening indicator cock etc, found everything normal, engine responded for both ahead and astern direction. But when engine was started during manoeuvring, it was observed No 1, cylinder head was lifting.
