  • LPG cargo hazards: flammability, toxicity, pressure-temperature relationship
  • Cargo piping systems: Liquid lines, vapor lines, spray lines, drain lines
  • Pumps and compressors, Cargo valves and remote operating systems, Cargo tank
  • instrumentation
  • Cargo loading and discharging procedures, Tank inerting and gas freeing procedures
  • Use of cargo heaters and vaporizers, Emergency shutdown systems
  • Boil-off gas (BOG) generation and control, Reliquefication plant overview
  • Troubleshooting reliquefication system issues
  • Cargo tank protection systems (P/V valves, rupture disks)
  • Fire and gas detection systems
  • Fixed firefighting systems for cargo area, Integration with engine room systems
  • Emergency drills and scenarios: fire, leakage, compressor failure
  • Simulator exercises.
